Hi there! I am Skye.

I have always held a deep passion and curiosity about the human body; from childhood to now, I have participated in movement arts and held genuinely nerdy enthusiasm for anatomy and physiology. Much of my enthusiasm has previously been expressed through teaching yoga and barre fitness classes. My experience with embodiment through movement has always drawn me to be curious with bodywork. I attended East West College of the Healing Arts and have only gained more excitement for providing nurturing, supportive, and intentional massage therapy.

Consent and open communication are at the core of my therapeutic approach. I understand that every person who walks through my door brings their own unique history, experiences, and boundaries. By fostering a safe and respectful environment, I strive to ensure that each of my clients feel empowered and comfortable throughout their massage sessions. Their trust and active participation in the process are paramount to achieving the best possible outcomes.

My bodywork style is inspired by myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish, and Thai massage modalities; blending these techniques allows me to provide a comprehensive therapeutic experience that caters to the specific needs of each individual client.

Originally from northern Michigan I moved to Portland in my early 20’s for a change of scenery. Growing up in an artistic and creative family I pursued art, eventually graduating with a Bachelor in Art History. After graduating I began finding creativity in physical movement - stacking activities like running, hiking, climbing, cycling, boxing, and skiing - yoga sort of found me out of necessity. I was drawn to the strong but gentle movements connected to the breath and the stretching and strengthening of the body. I see yoga as a practice for sustainable mobility and longevity, allowing us to be as physically comfortable in our bodies for as long as we can be.

I recently graduated from the NOW Yoga School 200-hour teacher training and am looking to share my knowledge and practice with the world.
